Frames of Reference

This first attempt at directed (non-randomized) computer drawing was defined by the desire to better understand rotation & push/pop matrix functions in Processing 3.

The result was the generation of multiple rotating frames of reference, not unlike planetary orbits.

Fluid Motions

The second attempt at directed computer drawing re-introduced randomization with determined constraints.

The intention was to model the behaviour of molecules around an obstruction in a fluid in motion, although the molecules in question were either moving far too quickly or are too thinned, as well as the obstruction behaviour not being as emergent as desired.
